Where do you put My Nametags?

Handmade feather hatIf you thought that My Nametags were just to help stop you or your family’s clothes and possessions going astray, then think again. Some of our customers use them to customise their home produced arts and crafts. To read more or if you use our labels for something different then please let us know…

Jill Peer, a 60-year old artist and hand reflexologist, uses the iron on My Nametags to label her hand-crafted hats. She started by making hats for a fancy dress party and people loved them so it grew from there. “I call them ‘Top Nots’ – they’re a type of fun turban and have my phone number and website printed on them with a picture of a ‘spinning top’,” says Jill. All of Jill’s hats are made from recycled fabric and are made by hand. They cost about £12.50 each.

Jill also uses the stick on My Nametags to customize her art work. “I paint landscapes, flora, historical buildings and faeries.” She’s recently made almost every piece of art into a faery card, with which she gives ‘readings’. “It’s a fun thing to do and is uplifting and amusing. At the end of the reading you can choose one of my cards to keep.” Jill’s hats and art work can be seen on Herefordshire’s arts community website www.01432.co.uk.
