Spring has landed! It’s time to peel off the layers, ditch your boots and get your wardrobe ready for warmer weather. Pastel everything!

Beautiful, bright pastel hues are a major trend this season. Whether it’s a soft pink, baby blue, or a peachy orange, you can’t go wrong. Keep it up-to-date with a cutout top.

Floral prints

Another must-have piece in your closet this season is anything floral. Just perfect with chinos or skinny jeans.

My Nametags is 10 – Birthday giveaway!

Started from a spare room in 2004 by Lars Andersen (and very patient wife), My Nametags supplies quality iron-on and stick-on labels to around 76 countries, including the UK. Even some European royal families have ordered from us!

“We got a great response to our simple but effective black and white nametapes at the Babyshow in 2004 and in the past 18 months we’ve even sold labels to far flung exotic destinations such as Fiji, Hawai and Bahrain!” says My Nametags founder Lars Andersen.

The company has quickly outgrown two offices and a third move to new premises following the acquisition of Irish company, KiD Labels in January 2014, is expected this autumn.

A pivotal point in the company’s history was the launch of full colour design labels in 2013. “This has given our customers heaps of choice plus we also launched our multi-tasking stickers which you can use on clothes as well as things like shoes and water bottles, which sets us apart from the competition,” says Lars.

The nametapes market has seen a decline in the number of sew-in labels sold in the past ten years. One of the oldest names in the business, Cash’s nametapes went into administration in January this year after 160 years and is now backed by a Hong Kong company. “Over the past ten years we’ve seen an increase in people preferring to iron or stick in nametags,” says Lars. “It just goes to show that you have to move with the times to be competitive in this market.”
